In early 2020, the world experienced a pandemic of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on a larger scale. In every city around the world, much of the global population was placed under restrictions of some kind.

Meanwhile, the crises already afflicting cities including overpopulation, inequality, and climate change, have not disappeared. Considering this scenario, now is the time to engage in serious actions on how cities and tall buildings can be optimised to support the best health, social, and economic outcomes.

The exposure to a pandemic such as the one we are experiencing is forcing us to rethink, reorganise the city and find solutions to live in a better way, taking into consideration also health issues. We therefore invite you to a great discussion, one that will present solutions and strategies that will fulfil the promise of healthier, more sustainable cities for the generations to come.
